Q: I can't use "Spot in Quicktime". An error occures.

A: Your Quicktime Version is too old. You must have Quicktime 6.5.0 or later installed to use this feature. You can download Quicktime Standalone from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html

Q: After clicking the hotspot with target <myself> the controller disappears/the movie isn't fullscreen.

A: The plugin initializes all embed tags to it's defaults after changing the movie. You have to add all embed parameter to the URL which are different from the default values like:

A<next.mov> T<myself> E<pan=17 tilt=5 fov=5 scale=tofit controller=true>

This works only in the browser, not in the quicktime player.

Q: How can I create the equirectangular Input image?

A: There are a lot of different programs but my favorite is PtGui.

Q: How can I install an update of Pano2QTVR?

A: Just download the newest version from the download page and start the installation program. Please make sure, the Pano2QTVR is not running, while you run the installer. You do not have to uninstall any older version!

Q: How can I create my own sprites/vrcontroller?

A: The only software I know is LiveStage Pro from totally hip. The sprites that are included with the Pano2QTVR installer are from the Book QuickTime for the Web. The complete list of all sprites can be found at http://homepage.mac.com/qt4web/sprites/items.html
